Half-seized Opportunity: Czech republic and the strategy Europe 2020

The book contributes to the debate on Europeanisation of the Czech politics which has been taking part for more than a decade. The goal of authors was not to analyse Europeanisation in general but, using the particular example of the strategy Europe 2020, to show whether and how the Czech political actors cope with challenges and commitments of the strategy and analysing this to demonstrate what are the deficits and flaws in the Czech approach to European integration. The book provides research of reflection of Europe 2020 by Czech political parties and pressure groups and, based on sample of five most important policy domains, as well by the Czech government.
