Vít Hloušek on European integration as a critical juncture of the Czech party politics

Vít participated in the conference “Asynchronities and divergences in the development of East-Central Europe since 1989” organised by Collegium Carolinum in November in Fischbachau, a beautiful spot in the foothills of the German Alps.

In the company of elite experts, both historians and political scientists, Vít delivered a paper on “European Integration as a Critical Juncture of the Czech Politics”. He showed in the paper the role of the EU issues in the Czech party contestation and what frequently superficial Czech Euroscepticism owes to President Václav Klaus.
