Monika Brusenbauch Meislová Co-Chairs Czech-German Think Tank Dialogue
Monika Brusenbauch Meislová co-chaired the 2025 Czech-German Think Tank Dialogue, held at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 4 June 2025. This annual event brought together experts for a day of thoughtful, open, and forward-looking discussions on key issues shaping Czech-German relations and broader European affairs. One of the key aims of the Dialogue is to develop practical recommendations for how Czechia and Germany can work together more effectively at the European level.
The Dialogue served as a valuable platform for exchange and inspiration, and was a testament to the enduring importance of cross-border intellectual cooperation.
As part of the programme, participants were also offered an exclusive tour of the historic Černín Palace, including a rare visit to the apartment of Jan Masaryk - the Czechoslovak diplomat and Foreign Minister tragically found dead there in 1948.
