Jirusek at fellowship organized by Washington-based think-tank
Martin Jirušek took part in a fellowship organized by the Washington, D.C.-based think-tank Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) aimed at strengthening, and deepening relationships between U.S. and European institutions and policymakers working on transatlantic issues.
Within the framework of the James S. Denton Transatlantic Fellowship Martin met a number of representatives of the state administration as awell as think-tanks and academia with whom he discussed contemporary issues in foreign policy and energy security spheres and the possibility of future cooperation
One of the outcomes was the apparent need for a more intensive communication and information exchange, especially regarding highly topical issues like, for instance, Nord Stream 2.
