Jan Kotýnek Krotký awarded MUNI Scientist Award 2025 for the book on attitudes towards migration in Czechia
Jan Kotýnek Krotký is part of the team that won the MUNI Scientist Award 2025. Together with his colleagues from the Department of Sociology, he was awarded for the book A Critical Cultural Sociological Exploration of Attitudes toward Migration in Czechia, published by the prestigious Bloomsbury Publishing.
The publication takes a critical and cultural-sociological look at attitudes toward migration in Czechia and provides a deeper understanding of how migration is perceived and discussed in Czech society.
