Vladimir Vučković participated in a workshop titled “The Transatlantic Transfer in Wider Europe: Democracy in Crisis” on 1 December 2025 organized the European University Institute in Florence.
The event gathered leading scholars to assess the impact of external geopolitical and geoeconomic actors on democratic developments in the Western Balkans, Central and Eastern Europe, and the broader European region. Through four thematic panels, participants examined foreign antidemocratic influences, the internal vulnerabilities of transitioning democracies, and the growing significance of political shifts in the United States for European democratic resilience.
