Inspiring visit by Professor Christopher Bickerton (University of Cambridge)
On Tuesday, 12 November 2024, our department had the privilege of hosting Professor Christopher Bickerton from the University of Cambridge, one of Europe’s most distinguished experts in modern European politics. The visit was a resounding success, leaving our academic community both inspired and enriched.
Professor Bickerton delivered two engaging lectures: the first, Varieties of Technopopulism in Europe, as part of the European Seminar Series, and the second, Europe’s Long 1989, as part of the MUNI Seminar Series.
Both lectures drew full-house audiences and sparked lively and thought-provoking discussions. We look forward to welcoming Professor Bickerton again in the future and continuing to cultivate vibrant academic dialogue within our department.
