Filip Černoch at Conference in Arizona

On 28 -31 May 2019, Filip Černoch took part in the 2nd International Conference on Energy Research and Social Science, in Tempe, USA.

The conference was organized under the auspices of the Elsevier publishing house and on behalf of the Energy Policy and Energy Research and Social Sciences journals within the premises of the Arizona State University.

Filip presented a research examining the interaction between the German Energiewende and the nuclear energy-based decarbonization strategy of the neighboring Czech Republic conducted with Jan Osička. Interestingly, the research showed that policies contributing to the development of low-carbon energy sources in one country may hinder such endeavors in another.
