Vratislav Havlík and Vít Hloušek at the CEPSA conference
Vratislav and Vít presented a paper, “Breaching the EU Governance by Decompression”, at the annual conference of the Central European Political Science Association (CEPSA). In the beautiful surroundings of the city of Bled, they explained why disintegration should be complemented with the new concept of decompression. Decompression covers the decline of loyalty and temporal abandoning of compliance. Still, Euroscepticism does not trigger it since it is a reaction to a sudden change in external conditions putting the governments of the member states under pressure.
