Vlček, Chovančík and Jirušek on Tensions in the Arctic

Tomáš Vlček, Martin Chovančík, Martin Jirušek, and Kateřina Uhlířová from the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University have published a new paper on the increasing tensions in the Arctic.

In the paper, they apply an analytical model that tracks indicators that could potentially lead to armed conflict. Although the research has found increasing tensions in some areas, it does not find that an immediate conflict is imminent in the Arctic.
