The department strongly represented at the Congress of the Czech Political Science Association
The tri-annual Congress of the Czech Political Science Association took part on 9 and 10 September in Brno. Our researchers presented their papers at this conference. Zuzana Ringlerová investigated the impact of the pandemic on German Euroscepticism. Vratislav Havlík analyses the lack of politicisation of the EU in Czech debates and its causes. Monika Brusenbauch-Meislová discussed the consequences of Brexit for Czech and Slovak defence policy. Olřich Krpec and Hubert Smekal informed about the situation of Central European political science in the international context.
