Smekal on Flexible Implementation
Hubert Smekal participated in the "Integrating Diversity in the European Union" video conference organized by Brigid Laffan (European University Institute, Florence) and Frank Schimmelfennig (ETH Zürich).
Hubert along with co-authors Sebastiaan Princen (University of Utrecht) and Robert Zbíral (Faculty of Law, Masaryk University) presented their research on flexible implementation. With the assistance of five MUNI students, they map the space for discretion provided by European directives to the EU Member States. #InDivEU
