Professor Claudio Radaelli's lecture for our students
On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, students of the course "Brexit: Politics, Policies, and Processes," organized by Monika Brusenbauch Meislová in our department, had the unique opportunity to discuss with Professor Claudio Radaelli, a world-renowned and widely recognized political scientist. Claudio Radaelli is a preeminent figure in European political science. He currently works as a professor at the prestigious European University Institute in Florence, is the author of more than 80 articles in professional journals and 55 book chapters, and is a recipient of important grants and awards. He has previously worked at institutions such as University College London, the University of Exeter, and the University of Bradford. His research primarily focuses on political processes within the EU, the impact of EU policies on member states, public administration, and regulatory policy.
He prepared an excellent lecture for our students on the topic of policy learning and Brexit, which evoked an enthusiastic response and led to a lively discussion. The erudition of our students and the quality of their questions left a strong impression on Professor Radaelli, as can be seen from his public statement in one of the attached photos As a department, we take pride in offering our students the opportunity to meet such important personalities in the academic world.
