On 22 November 2024, Monika Brusenbauch Meislová participated in the MUNI PhD Career Days at Masaryk University in Brno. She contributed to a panel discussion titled "Women in Science: Building Careers, Breaking Barriers," where she joined two other distinguished female researchers from Masaryk University, Dáša Bohačiaková (Faculty of Medicine) and Zuzana Vikarska (Faculty of Law) to discuss challenges and opportunities for women in academia, sharing insights into building successful careers.
On 28 November 2024, Monika was invited as a speaker to the UACES (University Association for Contemporary European Studies) Doctoral Training Academy, titled "Navigating the Academic Landscape: Mastering Teaching and Research Balance in European Studies." The event was hosted by the European Commission Representation in Prague and provided guidance to early-career scholars on managing the demands of academic teaching and research in European Studies. Monika offered practical advice based on her extensive academic experience, contributing to the event's focus on equipping doctoral students with skills for a balanced and successful academic career.
