21 Jun 2021

Martin Jirušek is the co-author of a newly published text entitled "Effective tool or useless list? Projects of Common Interest in the natural gas sector in Southeastern Europe". The text was written in cooperation with an alumna of our International Relations and Energy Security program Jana Červinková. The text was published in the prestigious Energy Research and Social Science journal by Elsevier publishing house.

The text focuses on the so-called Projects of Common Interest of the European Union, which is a list of infrastructure projects published by the European Commission to help their development. In the text, the authors illustrate the shortcomings of this tool and point out in particular the lack of policy coordination in the region of South-Eastern Europe.

The text is available here.
