Jan Krotký received a doctorate
The Department is proud to announce that on 17 February 2023, Jan Krotký defended his dissertation EU parliamentary debates about irregular migration in the eighth term: Persistent “pro-immigrant” discourse . The aim of the dissertation was to explore the structural determinants of “pro-immigration” and “anti-immigration” discourse and to examine how this discourse is legitimised by Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and other speakers in EP plenary debates.
