8th Summer School on Energy Security Successfully Concluded

Last week, the Masaryk University Centre in Telc hosted the 8th annual Summer School on Energy Security. On August 3-10, the centre hosted 25 participants from 13 countries who took part in lectures and workshops held by prominent energy experts on topics of EU and US energy policies, energy geopolitics, energy markets, etc.

One of the highlights was the already traditional field trip to the Temelin Nuclear Power Plant where students could see, among other things, the engine room and the simulator of the main control room.

The summer school thus again showcased the interdisciplinary nature of the issue that entails political science and economics as well as history and technical sciences.
