Language conditions
At the University of Tartu and the University of Tallinn students must demonstrate a very good knowledge of English at B2 level. Knowledge of the language must be evidenced either by an official letter from the English teacher at the university (the letter confirms that the student's knowledge of English is sufficient to study at a foreign university) or by a copy of the language certificate.
From January 2016, the University of Tartu offers a new form of teaching under the auspices of the Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies. This course is extended by modern teaching and research methods in English and Estonian. More detailed news can be found here .
