Exploring Europe’s Global Role: Monika Brusenbauch Meislová at the Jiří Mahen Library Discussion

Monika Brusenbauch Meislová spoke at the Europe as a Task event held on Wednesday, 14 May at the Jiří Mahen Library in Brno. This Czech-language discussion, open to the public, explored the role of Europe in a world of shifting power dynamics, evolving alliances, and complex global challenges, including the digital ones. She was joined by Mats Braun, Head of the Institute of International Relations Prague, as a fellow speaker, with the discussion moderated by Vít Dostál, Executive Director of the Association for International Affairs (AMO).

The event formed part of the broader Europe as a Task conference – a new high-level international platform focused on the future of the European Union. The conference was co-organised by AMO – Association for International Affairs, Institute for European Policy EUROPEUM and the Institute of International Relations Prague in cooperation with the Office of the President of the Czech Republic, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, the Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic, Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung, the Government Office of the Czech Republic, and the International Visegrad Fund.
