Petr Ocelík, together with PhD students Petr Vadovič and Harald Waxenecker, has been awarded a standard Czech Science Agency project investigating the influence of advocacy coalitions and interest groups on the shaping of Czech climate policy. In the three-year project, the research team will use a network analysis perspective to examine how organized interests are reflected in climate policy-making. The research will focus on the role of political parties as actors aggregating these interests, as well as mapping changes in climate policy through the analysis of specific policy measures. The project is part of the international COMPON research, which is being conducted in twenty countries.
