Ocelík et al. on coal-phase out in the Czech Republic
The article title A Contested Transition Toward a Coal-Free Future: Advocacy Coalition and Coal Policy in the Czech Republic was published in the prestigious journal Energy Research and Social Science. Research showed a strong position of industry incumbents and high polarization of the coal policy sector. This is facilitated by environmental and industry players’ competition to access decision-makers which results in a stalemate that prevents the formulation of phase-out policy.
