Kříž & Krpec on Army and its Role as Political Actor
Zdeněk Kříž and Oldřich Krpec published a text in the Oxford University Press publishing house, which deals with the role of the army in the political system during the First Czechoslovak Republic, during communism, and after 1989.
In the text, they concluded that in the period of the First Czechoslovak Republic and after 1989 the emphasis was on civic education and democratic values, while in the period of communism the emphasis was mainly on loyalty to the communist leadership.
