Koďousková at JUSTDECARB Workshop

Hedvika Koďousková spoke at the virtual launch of the new pan-European JUSTDECARB research project. Hedvika presented energy poverty as a multi-dimensional, dynamic, cross-cutting issue, which is still hard to grasp for policy-makers in the CEE region.

The Czech case study largely confirms this presumption. Although there is an imperfect match between households suffering poverty and energy poverty, the wider ideological debate on poverty is often used as a basis for better understanding and tackling such a new or emergent problem.
