Jirušek at Conference Commemorating 30th Anniversary of Visegrad Group
On June 4, Martin Jirušek spoke at an online conference organized by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Visegrad Group. In his contribution titled "Energy Security in Visegrad Countries: Finding a Common Ground Between the EU and Russia", he assessed the current state of cooperation among the V4 countries in the field of energy and energy security.
In his contribution, he drew attention to the experience that in this area, a bottom-up type of cooperation on a regional level works comparatively better than top-down initiatives.
