Jean Monnet Chair is a project aiming to support teaching and is therefore linked to particular courses about the EU. In the faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University there are following courses of the Jean Monnet Chair 2012 project:

Lisbon Treaty Step by Step (EVS436)A Master course aimed at detailed studies of the Lisbon Treaty more precisely Treaty on European Union and Consolidated Version of Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. The course is run in a form of a workshop. Organized Interests in the EU (EVS403)A Master course that aims to get students familiar with real life lobbying rules including regulatory rules of the European Union and comitology procedure. The course includes discussions with guests such as lobbyists or interest groups representatives. Concepts of EU Developments (EVS008)A course for doctoral students that enables them to specialize in their researches. It includes issues of democratic deficit, the multi-speed Europe concept and the European finality debate. The output of the individual work with students is a group debate about the individual analysed issues. Constitutional revisions of the EU (EVS412)A course which is trying by a historical excursion to analyse all key realised an failed proposals of constitutionalisation in the EU. The aim of this master course is to understand the change in the constitutionalisation process of European integration. Academic writing in EU studies (EVS012, EVS443)The course is aimed at master and doctoral students and aims to name principles of science evaluation in the Czech Republic. It looks to demonstrate on publication output the research possibilities of the field of study.
