State exams

The final state examination in Master’s degree study is usually taken in the fourth semester. A part of the final state examination is a defence of the Diploma Thesis in a range of 80 – 100 pages (minimum 144 000 characters). Instructions for acquiring the so-called diploma seminar can be found in the IS page for this course.

In all cases, the students submit the topic of their final thesis into the IS after consultation and approval of their supervisor.

The specific dates can be found in the latest schedule.

The dates are listed in the Information System MU in the application Final State Examination Dates.
