Visit of Slovenian Ambassador Aleš Balut Opened the “How Do They See Us” Course
It was a great pleasure to welcome H.E. Aleš Balut, Ambassador of Slovenia to the Czech Republic, back to the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University as part of our course “How Do They See Us: The Czech Republic and its European Partners.”
His visit opened this semester’s series of guest lectures within the course. The session attracted a full room and sparked a lively discussion, with many sharp questions from students. The debate touched upon diplomacy, European partnerships, and current geopolitical challenges.
We sincerely thank Ambassador Balut for his time, openness, and valuable insights, which enriched our discussion of how the Czech Republic is perceived by its European partners.
