Monika Brusenbauch Meislová Presented Her Research at a Brexit Anniversary Conference in Paris
On 25–26 June 2026, Monika Brusenbauch Meislová participated in the international conference “10 Years after the Brexit Referendum: Euroscepticism and Europhilia in the UK”, held at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris.
The conference brought together leading scholars from across Europe working on UK–EU relations and featured keynote lectures by Anand Menon (UK in a Changing Europe) and Julie Smith (University of Cambridge).
Monika presented her research on the EU as “the Other” in post-Brexit British governmental discourse, based on her forthcoming book.
The event was organised by the Centre for Research on the English-Speaking World at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle.
