Lhotský on the role of human rights organizations and the climate change
Jan Lhotský has published a new article in the Journal of Human Rights Practice exploring the growing role of National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) in the field of climate change and human rights. Combining an analysis of recent developments in international law with research among European NHRIs, the article examines how these institutions are becoming increasingly engaged in addressing the human rights impacts of climate change. Based on its findings, it also offers recommendations on how NHRIs can further strengthen their role in this field.
