Hedvika Koďousková at the SEVEn webinar co-organised with the European Commission’s Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH): From Data to Action against Energy Poverty
Hedvika Koďousková took part in the webinar “Current Approaches to Reducing Energy Poverty,” organised by SEVEn in cooperation with the European Commission’s Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH).
In her contribution, “From Data to Action: Targeting Measures Against Energy Poverty in Municipalities,” she presented findings from a TAČR-funded project focused on energy vulnerability in Czech municipalities and its underlying drivers. Drawing on a newly developed index and a typology of municipalities, she demonstrated how data can help identify different forms of energy vulnerability and improve the targeting of public measures. She also highlighted the need for place-sensitive and differentiated solutions tailored to the specific conditions and needs of different types of municipalities.
