Barbora Halašková elected Vice-Chair of the Czech Arctic Science Consortium
On 6 March 2026, the Czech Arctic Science Consortium (CASC) was officially established. The consortium will provide a new platform to coordinate and represent Czech Arctic research at the international level. Masaryk University is proud to be among the eight founding institutions of CASC.
We are especially pleased that our colleague Barbora Halašková has been elected Vice-Chair of the consortium. Congratulations on this important role — we look forward to further strengthening the Czech contribution to research in the polar regions.
