The EU in motion: Challenges and opportunities in a shifting world
We are pleased to announce an upcoming round table discussion in the European Seminar Series hosted by the Department of International Relations and European Studies at FSS MUNI, titled “The EU in motion: Challenges and opportunities in a shifting world.”
We are honoured to welcome H.E. Aleš Balut, Ambassador of Slovenia to the Czechia, and H.E. Alessandro Gaudiano, Ambassador of Italy to the Czechia, as our guest speakers. This event aims to address the wide range of questions related to the ongoing transformation of the international arena and key developments within the European Union. It will discuss the challenges the EU faces in today’s fast-moving, contested environment, as well as the opportunities these dynamics can open up. A central focus will be on what the EU – and its member states – can do, internally and externally, to preserve and strengthen the Union’s political standing and enhance its economic competitiveness.
The seminar will take place on Thursday, May 14, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in room P31 at the Faculty of Social Studies in Brno. We look forward to your participation in this engaging debate.
