What is the background of European Commission´s pressure to diversify nuclear fuel supplies in Europe? Which political risks are arising in natural gas and nuclear sectors in central and Eastern Europe?
These were the questions Tomáš Vlček and Martin Jirušek were trying to address in their contributions at a conference titled Towards a common European energy policy? Perceptions of energy security held in Poznan (PL) last week. The conference was organized within premises of the Adam Mickiewicz University and attracted over 20 panelists from germany, Italy, Sweden, Canada and other countries.
