Tomáš Vlček along with Martinem Jiruškem from the International Institute of Political Science of Masaryk University took part in the 14th Steering Group Meeting of the EU´ Strategy for the Danube Region held in Budapest on July 13. At the meeting, they presented preliminary outcomes of the project titled "Challenges and opportunities of the natural gas sector in the Danube Region".
The project focuses on the issue of the gas market integration within the region located along the Danube River. The project focuses mainly on political issues and potential pitfalls of the aforementioned process. Special attention is paid to specifics of the post-communist countries within the area. The final study will be published this September.
