The recently published book "A Litmus Test for Democratic Politics in Europe Parliaments, Brexit and the Future of the European Union" by Routledge features two chapters authored by members of our department.

Petr Kaniok and Monika Brusenbauch Meislová are the authors of the chapter "Brexit as a (de)politicized issue? Evidence from Czech and Slovak parliaments", which examines which parliamentary actors in the Czech Republic and Slovakia (de)politicised Brexit and which strategies they used in doing so. Monika Brusenbauch Meislová also wrote a chapter "In the spotlight, or behind the scenes? The European Parliament as an actor in Article 50 withdrawal negotiations", which examines the role of the European Parliament in Brexit from the perspective of the concept of actorhood. These chapters were also featured in a special issue of the Journal of Contemporary European Studies.
