She finished her Master’s degree in International Relations at the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University. In 2012 she successfuly finished her Doctoral degree focused on foreign energy policy of China. In her research she specializes on conceptualisation of energy security, geopolitical aspects of energy policy and mainly on energy relations in Asia. She leads several courses in Czech and English. In 2009 and 2011 she took part in study stays in Great Britain and China. She was a co-investigator of analysis for Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Zkapalněný zemní plyn: potenciál pro energetickou bezpečnost EU (2009) and principal investigator of the project Ruské aktivity v zemích vyvážejících zkapalněný zemní plyn (2010). At FSS she led a project focused on education of students in the field of energy security co-funded by European Social Fund and Czech national budget. In present she works as a researcher at International Institute of Political Science (IIPS MU).
